I had a great weekend but I made an unwise decision about driving in bad conditions today and - nine and a half hours later after what should have been a five hour drive, tops - am feeling both grateful and suitably chastened. Will blog more after I get over my adrenaline-dump nausea and get some sleep. On the brighter side, a picture of Zarah looking extremely Canadian getting me ready to leave this morning.

Home looked like this. My sisters in Christ, I ask you, what the whole entire frigid fuck?

Oh noooooo. The drive sounds awful, I hope you are thawing and recovering.
Love the photo of your friend, though. Perfection.
Aieeee you guys got so much snow! I did hear that there was a big storm and I was like "wait, did Allison go to Hamilton?"
I am SO NOT READY FOR THIS. My husband got delayed (by almost a day) on his trip to Europe yesterday because of snow in Toronto.
How RUDE of the weather to already turn like this.
We've had flurries, but nothing that accumulated. I had the snow tires put on my vehicle last week and that always makes me feel better to have that job done. I feel like the first snowstorm always catches me off guard and so now I put snow tires on EARLY.
Let's not even talk about it. I am SO ANGRY.
This was supposed to be our starter snow! Exceptionally rude.
Glad you're ok!! Love your friend's car scraping lewk-- it is also very WI
Oh, no! I'm sorry it was so bad, glad you made it, eventually. Those adrenaline rushes suck.
That's insane to me, can't even begin to imagine. I'm glad you made it safely at least!
Oh man, I am glad you made it safely.
Your drive sounds terrible, I understand the icky feelings afterwards.
Honestly, the snow photo looks lovely. Unless one has to be outside in it, or driving through it. :(
