In an A-plus A frame

Two people, one tiny cabin, some wine and a ladder up to bed. What could go wrong?

My friend Jody (HI JODY) found these adorable glamping cabins in Quebec and I shamelessly stole her idea (SORRY JODY) for the one weekend my husband is home this fall.

The weather has been the perfect mix of what he likes (sunny) and what I like (cold).

This small canoe felt extremely tippy, but the water was gorgeous. Matt suggested I could just post the pictures without telling everyone what a whiny coward I was, but that's just not me.

So pretty. So tippy.

I read on the deck until my fingers wouldn't move anymore.

Hot tub and fire pit on deck.

That does sound like an A+ weekend. And only one weekend this month? Glad you spent it well.

Oh, the ladder would worry me in the middle of the night. Otherwise this looks like a perfect weekend, tippy canoe and all!
What a cute cabin. I would spend a weekend there.

This looks idyllic! I want to spend a long weekend in one of these cabins - just me, my books, and some good snacks.

Well this sounds lovely! I'm laughing at the "whiny coward" description of your canoe outing. Also the ladder up to bed... I take it there were no incidents!

That looks like such a lovely spot for a getaway!! Glad to know you just felt tippy, but didn't make a splash into the water.

I am with Stephany - I want to be there, and the only thing holding me back is that it's in Quebec and oh, right, there are 4 weeks left in the semester. Siggghhhh....
