Wordless Wednesday

More properly "not MY words", but that doesn't flow as well. And now I'm adding a bunch of words anyway. Damn, I suck at this. I present, Eve being salty about Daylight Saving Time six years apart.

This is so funny. I suck at Wordless Wednesday too, I always have to add words, so I usually just don't even try anymore. Don't even get me started on the time change - that would be a post for Whining Wednesday for sure!

Ha ha... I think this generation gets a little gypped out of the pleasure of turning the clocks back (if, of course, you consider it a pleasure). My daughter and most of her friends woke up on Sunday morning and their devices had already changed the time. I can see how you might not even be aware it had happened! Hmm, maybe that would be a good thing in the spring- I hate moving the clocks forward.

Heehee -- poor Eve!

We have really slid smoothly through the time change this year, though perhaps that is in large part to me and the cat remaining on the previous time? Hard to say.

I mean, why don't they advertise it more? I honestly feel like if it didn't automatically populate on my Google calendar, I would never know. She has a point.

I'm with Eve. I don't like either of the time changes, but spring forward is worse.

Who is They? And, especially for The Young, where on earth would they advertise it that they would see it?

This reminds me of the ridiculous conversation Rob and I had on Sunday morning, regarding what time it was. "No, but what's the real time" he asked and I told him, and he's like "Is this before or after time change." HOW DOES ONE ANSWER THIS QUESTION. It turned into a monologue.

Omg, DYING. Who's on two o'clock.

The chuckleheads who impose DST on us, presumably. And I don't know, but they used to put it in the newspaper and now nobody reads the newspaper and it's like they just gave up. YouTube? TikTok?

Agree. Except when you have little kids, I think - that one just sucked all the fun out of Fall Back.

Absolutely. I only remembered the night of, and then I was still confused when I was reading on my iPad and it was suddenly much later than I'd thought it was.

The devices are great, but then you look at your stove or microwave clock and feel like you've lost your mind.

I should have just called it that instead!

I don't know how you're doing that. Nothing has materially changed, and yet I feel like I've been run over by a truck.

Hahaha, I swear DST is a conspiracy theory for sure.
