You can eat it plain, but most people get one with a "topping" - i.e. cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top, or sugar and lemon juice. YUMMY.

@Allison - I'm so sorry the story had a sad ending! Everything else looked AMAZING. What a fantastic idea, to do a little getaway in your own city. Last week I was chatting with the ladies at school pickup and we were all saying we almost never make it to Winterlude, and felt like bad Ottawans.

We went to the NAC a couple of weekends ago, on a Saturday afternoon, and the crowds (from Winterlude) were NUTS. Cars and people everywhere. It basically cemented our decision to never go downtown again. Unless we have a hotel and Bradley Cooper to keep us motivated :).Lynnhttp://diaryofaturtlehead.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2102491209284064200.post-91623008758575536822013-02-27T16:39:42.531-08:002013-02-27T16:39:42.531-08:00Aww. We can be super lame too.

Finolahttp://www.finola.canoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2102491209284064200.post-3274745730478579032013-02-27T06:00:39.160-08:002013-02-27T06:00:39.160-08:00So what is a beaver tail? I'm going to have to stop being so alarmed that N is gaining on me, because I'm only 5' 2''.

I'm glad you had fun. I'm sorry you're still sick. You will have another good day some day. But hell, if it actually got us down to Winterlude (which we didn't get to this year), it would totally be worth it.

Oh, and IMHO, the most comfortable bed is ALWAYS the one you don't have to make yourself. Just sayin' :)Sashahttp://www.ramblingnotebook.comnoreply@blogger.com
